Class 7 has just returned from a week of adventure activities and survival training on the remote and wild Hebridean island of Ru’a Fiola.
Although the weather was stormy, everyone participated in rock climbing, abseiling and kayaking, often overcoming fear of heights to do so.
Each pupil in the class managed to survive a night out in a cave of shelter they had built themselves. Despite extreme weather, everyone lit their fires and some cooked limpets, seaweed and even eels they had caught.
This was a real week of initiation and the pupils just wish they were still there.
