On 9th May 2015 pupils from Elmfield will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the tallest ever simulated volcano eruption. The current record stands at 7.15 metres high.
This is a superb opportunity for the pupils to get to grips with all sorts of related topics, from geology to chemistry to poverty.
The event will include family entertainment, food stalls, displays of pupils’ work, music and other activities. The event runs from 11am to 3pm, with the eruption taking place at 2pm.
We look forward to seeing you there.
