This year marks the 25th anniversary of the exchange programme between Elmfield and our sister school, Schloss Hamborn, in Germany. As you may know, our Class 9 visited them in May for the annual trip which is always one of the highlights of their time at Elmfield. We are now delighted to welcome their Class 10. They arrived on Sunday evening and are already busy rehearsing for their Shakespeare performance of Much Ado about Nothing (in English!).
They have been working on this for many weeks now and they will be performing it at Elmfield on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November in the Hall at 7.30pm. The play is suitable for all ages and is approximately 90 minutes long with no breaks. Much Ado about Nothing is a comedy about two pairs of lovers – Claudio and Hero and Benedick and Beatrice – and this version promises much fun and music. Based on previous performances we should be in for a treat.
Everyone is warmly invited to this event, for which there is no charge. It would be lovely to give them a big audience so please do come along and support their efforts.
