Science Fun Day success and C5 trip

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Science Fun Day. It was a great success with 200 people attending and £722.25 being raised. There was a great atmosphere with lots of enthusiasm, encouraged by our fabulous Upper School volunteers. And the food was delicious!

Class 5 spent last Thursday and Friday on an overnight camping trip at the Frank Chapman Outdoor Centre in the Wyre Forest. They had a wonderful time exploring woodland and investigating the flora and fauna in preparation for their botany main lesson after half term. They had the opportunity to see deer, bats, ancient trees, and to make wishes. A wonderful time was had by the whole class especially Mrs Beachim as you can from the photo below!

Have a relaxing and fun half-term.
