Sunshine and recent events

The sun was out at lunch-break and it felt one of those days when all seems right with the world. Walking around the school, everyone was outside enjoying themselves and there was a lovely atmosphere with smiling children everywhere. It’s days like this that make you really appreciate how lucky we are to have such lovely grounds. Children were on the swings, playing catch, climbing trees, balancing on posts, and just generally loving the sunshine. What a great place to spend your childhood!

Class 6 have now moved onto Business Maths since their fabulous Asterix Play and its wonderful costumes (well done to all involved). This has seen them out raising money by selling treats and cleaning cars.

Class 11 did a great job hosting their Quiz night last Friday and it proved a fun evening with some challenging questions and tasty food. Thank you to everyone who came and congratulations to the winning team which included our very own Miss King and Mr Lumsden.

At the weekend Stream of Sound hosted another successful and inspiring Singing Day, an amazing opportunity for all our pupils. Thanks as usual to Caroline Price and the members of Stream of Sound.

And just in case you haven’t put the date in your calendar yet, the annual Middle and Upper School Concert is this coming Wednesday 5th April at 7.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
