Job vacancies
Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School is a highly successful Waldorf School, located in Stourbridge, 30 minutes from Birmingham, Worcester and Wolverhampton, and only a few minutes from the Clent Hills. We follow the Waldorf curriculum, providing all-round education for children aged 3-17 years. We're the only school in the region providing a real alternative to state education. Our recent Ofsted inspection rated all areas of the school as “Good”. We now have waiting lists for some of our academic year groups and we have grown in pupil numbers every year since 2012. Our aim, as a Waldorf School, is to nurture creative, confident, socially responsible young people who reach their full potential.
We’re committed to safeguarding children and expect all applicants to share this commitment. Elmfield is looking for families who would be interested in becoming Boarding Parents, and are able to offer occasional fairly short-term (one term to one year) boarding to students, who are mostly from other European Steiner Schools. The visiting pupils are usually aged between 14 – 17. They gain a lot from visiting Elmfield and the school also always values their contribution while they are here. However we cannot accept them unless we can find families able to host them. We currently pay £140 per week to host families and more for half term weeks. Please contact Maigread Reynolds (info@elmfield.com) in the office if you would like more information about this.
We can only accept applications from present or past parents at the school/staff.
