Elmfield Shop

Like Doctor Who, 2022 sees the Elmfield School Shop regenerate into a new and perhaps radical incarnation!

The Elmfield School Shop has been a part of our lives for many years. We remember delivering stock of Dr.Hauschka and Speick skin care to the Elmfield shop when it was based in the centre of Stourbridge, too many years ago now to want to remember the exact year!

With this new incarnation, we – Ulula, an online shop offering Demeter, organic and eco products for the whole family - (we are also parents of pupils at Elmfield), want to build on what is already a well-loved provision, creating a supportive and beneficial resource and shop for the parents and whole school community, and eventually the wider local community as well. Through initial talks with Mr Merrell and members of the School Council, we have many exciting ideas for the future!

What is our vision? Well, our aim is to entice you to shop with us rather than Amazon and other outlets for your child’s school needs, as well as stock a wider range of gifts, foods and everyday items, all with sustainability in mind.

We want to make a warm, welcoming and friendly environment, that reflects the school’s wonderful ethos and strengthens the community spirit. Our struggle is going to be able to fit in all we want to offer! As Jackie, supremo and lifeblood of the shop said, “we are a little shop with a big heart.”

By buying through the shop, and also online at ulula.co.uk, you will be directly benefiting Elmfield as a percentage of money spent will be given back to the school to support projects and fund raising.

Since April, everyone who has bought from the Elmfield School Shop has already helped to raise £300 for the school.

Our opening hours (term time only) have extended to include mornings, and as the sun continues to shine, we have delicious organic ice cream to help keep us cool! There are a few other new additions – such as a new mini gardening section – and if you can’t see what you want, let Jackie know and we will do our best to source it for you. We would also love to hear your ideas of what you would like from your school shop.
